Dear parents,
Tours and Trek are an integral part of the boarding schools, curriculum which helps in personality development, exposure, entertainment etc. of a student. Tours and Trek are compulsory for all the Boarders and like every year school is organizing Education Tours as per the details given below :

The students going for tour, mentioned at S.No.-1 (i.e Junga - Shimla) can go home on 30th Oct.2012 morning and shall report back on 07th October 2012 by 2.00 p.m. however, students not willing to go home on 30th Oct.2012 can stay in school.
The tentative date for the school Annual Function is 25th November’2012, however, final date will be intimated through invitation for the same. You are requested to attend the function and encourage the students.
Winter Break will be from 23rd December’2012 to 06th January’2013. It is brought to the notice of parents that students are being guided to pay more attention towards studies as the academic year progresses. If any parent visits the student in between, the child gets mentally and emotionally disturbed and his/her attention gets diverted from the cause (studies) for which you have sent him / her to the hostel. The parents are therefore requested to visit the ward as per school calendar, generally on last Saturday/Sunday of the month, if there are no exams. Parents are requested NOT to visit the school on other days other than Last Saturday/Sunday of the month. PTM for the boarders will held on last Saturday of the month between 12.00 to 2.00 pm. and students can go for outing after 2.00 p.m. on Saturday with parents/local guardian. They must report back by 6.00 p.m. next day to avoid any penalty. No permission will be granted without prior approval. In case of any requirement the parents will be requested to visit the school.
Parents are requested NOT to give any costly items, mobiles, I-pads, personal computing devices having telephonic conversation facility or any such things which distracts their attention from studies or other activities. If any mobile phone or any such thing which is not permitted, found with student, shall be confiscated for good and also fined. The school has already provided Cable TV for students at recreation room, which they can watch during extra hours.
If you are willing that your ward to come home and back to school by Air/Train during Winter Vacation, kindly intimate us in advance and also send the amount for the to and fro journey, if the ticket(s) are to be arrange by the school. You are also requested to get the return tickets booked in advance so that students must reach to school on 06th January’2013 by 1800 hrs in order to avoid any penalty. Students must come back in school uniform. No student will be permitted to go on vacation prior to the date mentioned in school calendar.
